Lovely Lodge

We enjoyed spending 2 nights here whilst visiting Amboseli. The lodge is right inside the national park and provided an excellent base for safari

The lodge and surrounding areas are beautiful. It is very peaceful and have lovely gardens to sit in.

The rooms were nice but could have done with a mini fridge and aircon as it does get quite warm even with a ceiling fan

The staff were very friendly and the food was good at meal times.

Awesome place to stay! Highly recommended

Amazing lodge, in the middle of the savanna. Food, staff, rooms, everything great and clean. Highly recommended!
We have stayed only 2 nights which is not enough. Surrounded by monkeys, and seen hippo's while having breakfast. Cool!!!!!

A time to remember! Once in a lifetime opportunity! MUST GO!

One of the best experiences in a hotel I have ever had in my life! The scenery was amazing and the service and rooms where simply immaculate. The environment an aura was the sell point for me. Once during breakfast saw and elephant pass us! The surrounding park was amazing whether you like wildlife or not and after a hot day in the safari we sat down for a jolly swim. The food is quite amazing and the experience all in all was absolutely mesmerizing absolutely have no complaints about this hotel! It has the perfect savannah experience!
SIMPLY MUST GO!

Sleeping under Kilimanjaro

We spent 3 nights here. We stayed in rooms 68 and 69 which were farther away from the amenities with less foot traffic and great views of the bush where we saw elephant walking past, Maribu storks roosting in the trees and could hear the hippo chuckling in the morning. Both rooms were twins. Rooms had mosquito nets and a ceiling fan. Mosquito repellant wipes were also provided and you could leave your patio door open as it was screened.

All though we spent most of our time exploring the park, we did spend an afternoon by the pool which had shaded areas and is heated to 23/24 degrees C. Towels are provided.

They provided a packed lunch or a packed breakfast, depending on how early we were leaving or how long we were planning to stay out.

Breakfast at the hotel was a buffet with an extensive selection of choices. Dinner was a mix between table service and buffet starting with soup, a choice of mains and desserts. Again they catered for gluten-free with some adjustments for my packed lunches (which were very generous).

Patricia was our highlight for this visit as she always welcomed us for meals and mentioned that she had missed us when we were out the whole day.

They have a small merchandise shop. The lady in the shop was also great as we went back most evenings to have a look. Would recommend purchasing the Amboseli park brochure as it provides a good overview of the park and you can tick off the animals you see.
